About me

I’m from Sogamoso, a nice city in Boyacá. I have a B.A in Teaching English as a Foreign Languages with a Specialization in Educational Management from UPTC (2011) and a TESOL certificate from Perimeter College, Atlanta, GA (2012).  Since graduating from college, I've worked as an English teacher in different contexts such as private high schools, continuing education, and undergraduate programs. I currently work as a full-time professor at UPTC (Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia), Sogamoso.

I have enrolled in the Master in Pedagogical Mediation in Language Learning with the expectation that upon completion, I would have picked up the skills and know-how necessary to identify the best EFL strategies for teaching and research process, and the best path towards achieving it.
